Early Times Report Jammu, Jan 29: S.S Sodhi, Chairman, J&K Intellectual Civil Society, New Delhi held a meeting with all the members of the Civil Society and discussed with them about the involvement of the youth and students in community service and peace process in Jammu & Kashmir. It was concluded that if the youth and students are involved in the community service it can be beneficial in many ways like teaching people about healthcare, healthy living, educating local community, children, adults, creating social awareness, helping unprivileged individuals & families in crisis, Building living shelters for the unprivileged people, Arranging soup kitchens for the homeless, Providing assistance to the aged and similar people & Caring animals, conservation, rescue and veterinary medical assistance at a very low cost. The Chairman also stated that as regards the involvement of youth/students in the peace process of J&K state, they are full of creativity, intellect and innovative energy and should be used for the development of the state as successful agents of peace, development and prosperity so that not only society, the state and the country is also benefitted by their contributions and they themselves also can lead a purposeful, meaningful and successful life by building their careers as we find that the youth throughout the country are taking part in democratic process and thus contribute as torch bearers for emerging societies. |
