| New jobs for youth not for retired persons: Deepak Gupta | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 9: ABVP State Secretary Deepak Gupta today said that retired professors are being reemployed at Central University of Jammu.
He further asked that the Central University has been paying the salary of an Associate Professor to a contractual faculty member, how is he justifying this. He said that professors who have completed their actual service terms are here as permanent faculty member and are holding the academic as well as Administrative posts, he blamed it by saying they are holding it on the pleasure of the Vice Chancellor and no advertisement have been made for those post which have been held by such professors and why University is not advertising for that.
ABVP demands that University should employee a university vision team which could at least provide the University with a vision to create employment opportunity for the youth, rather let the expertise work as a full fledge faculty members again after superannuation. |
