Jammu, Feb 9: Waffa Foundation has organized a banquet for the stranded passengers in Jammu due to closure of national highway. The Langar was organised under the supervision of Parvez Waffa, Chairman and Founder of the organisation under the directions of PDP president Mehbooba Mufti.
Parvez Waffa visited Bus Stand Jammu and its adjoining areas and interacted with stranded passengers and taxi driver to assess the problems being faced by them.
Parvez hailed the Governor Satya Pal Malik for airlifting GATE aspirants of Kashmir to Jammu for appearing in the second phase of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) and other examinations. Among others who were present include Dr Jhanzaib Sirwal, General Secretary Waffa Foundation, Rajat Randhawa, Secretary, Jagdish Singh Treasurer, Zohaib Sadiq, Secretary and Farhan, Member. |
