ICT based STC organised by NITTTR Chandigarh | | | Early Times Report
RAJOURI, Feb 9: A five days long ICT (Information & Communication Technology) based Short term course on "science and technology for sustainable development" was organized at University Polytechnic BGSBU under the guidance and leadership of VC of BGSBU Prof. Javed Musarat. The programme commenced on Feb,04, 2019.The main purpose of organizing such ICT based programme is to promote the culture of high tech. teaching ,learning and research among the faculty. The department of University Polytechnic has been engaged in the process of organizing such ICT based programmes from time to time. It is very pertinent to mention here that University Polytechnic BGSBU Rajouri is emerging as a centre in the field of technical education by organizing such ICT based programmes. During the five days short term course a series of lectures were given by eminent scientist from CSIR Chandigarh andCEERI Pilani and professors from different IITs. Their main focus was the importance of science and technology for sustainable development of India. Experts who delivered lectures and talks included Dr. Poonam Syal, Dr. V.K Bhat, Prof.Sanjay Sharma Arch. Jit Kumar Gupta Prof. Lini Methew, Prof. L.N Sharma. The expert also cleared the doubts of the participants and also gave appropriate answers to questions being asked by participants at the end of each session during the short term course.
