PDP office sealed in Jammu | | | Early Times Report Srinagar, Feb 17: In the wake of violent protests against the deadly attack in Pulwama carried out by Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammad, Jammu and Kashmir police on Saturday sealed People Democratic Party's office in Jammu ahead of former chief minister Mehbooba Mufti's visit to the city. The police said the PDP office was sealed in view of the law and order situation in Jammu. A curfew in Jammu continued for a third consecutive day on Sunday with the authorities saying that it will remain in force until the law and order situation improves in the city. On Friday, miscreants torched some vehicles and damaged several others carrying number plates of Kashmir Valley in protest against the Pulwama terror attack. The Army was called to assist the civil administration to restore order in the city. |
