Jammu, Feb 17: Natraj Natya Kunj, Cultural Society Jammu today performed Dogri adaptation of William Shakespeare tragedy Play Macbeth; in 14th TFT Winter national theatre festival at Bal Bhawan Sector 23 Chandigarh.
According to press release, organized by Theatre Chandigarh this month long National Theatre festival which includes various Folk Performances, street play festival, kavi sammalen, Mushaira, workshops, exhibitions.
Elucidating about the play, Director Abhishek Bharti said that the play is about the destruction wrought when ambition goes unchecked by moral constraints.
The cast comprises of Lalit Sharma as Badarveer, Karan Mehra as Kritveer, Akshay Razdan as Sardar, Aman Sharma as Bangi, Mukesh Bakshi as Bali, Niharika Sakshi as Nanda, Kanav Sharma as Mani, Priya Sharma, Anshika Sharma and Hema Shivgotra as Witch 1, 2 and 3 respectively .Production was managed by Lalit Sharma and assisted by Akshay Razdan, designed by Kumar A 'Bharti', Lights by Tejan Bharti, Make-up by Niharika Sakshi, sets and property by Anshika, Hema and Priya Sharma.
