Jammu, Feb 17: A Grand Gurmat Samagam was organised by Sant Pura Dana Charitable trust at Gurudwara Sri Guru Arjun Dev ji, In the memory of Sant Gurbaksh Singh Ji Dana, under the patronage of Sant Tejwant Singh ,Dera Mukhi,Sant Pura Danna.
The programme was organised with the cooperation of Joginder Singh Bali and Updesh Kour Bali (Hong Kong Waley), Baldev Singh, CEO Peaks Auto Ltd. & S. T.S. Wazir, Ex MLC and Chairman J&K Gurudwara Prabhandak Board .
S Charanjit Singh Khalsa BJP MLC, S. Surjit Singh Ex Member DGPC, S. Fateh Singh Member DGPC, S. Surinder Singh Advocate aslo addressed the Sangat..
S. Baldev Singh, CEO Pewaks Auto Ltd briefed the sangat about the mission and vision of Sant Gurbaksh Singh Ji and the achievements of SGSD International School, established on the Name of Sant Ji, in a short span of two years only.The students of SGSD International School recited Shabad, Kirtan and also paid homage to Sant Gurbaksh Singh Ji Danna.
Ragi Jathas of Bhai Ravinder Singh ji, Bhai Amarpreet Singh ji, Bhai Jagir Singh & Bhai Sahib Bhai Parvinder Singh recited Shabad kirtans.. Bhai Sahib Giani Bachiter Singh Ji Head Granthi Gurudwara Sri Bangla Sahib also appreciated the role of Sant Gurbaksh Singh ji who dedicated his whole life for the service of mankind.
While reciting gurbani he also said that teachings and principles of the great tenth Guru are more relevant today and can be helpful in bringing peace in the whole world.
Inspite of The Curfew and restrained movement, thousands of devotees reached at Gurudwara Sahib to pay homage to Sant Gurbaksh Singh ji and seek the blessings of Akal purakh Waheguru.
S Majit Singh Member managing Committee coodinated the stage.
Other prominent personalities present there are S. Rajinder Singh Wazir, S. Amarjit Singh, Mrs Ravinder Pal Kour, Principal Mrs Pankaj Pathania, Mrs Balvinder Kour staff members & other Member of management Committee SGSD international School.
