MLC booked for defying DC's order, impersonation | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Feb 19: Peer Mitha police booked Member Legislative Council (MLC) Firdous Ahmed Tak for allegedly defying order duly promulgated by public servant and impersonating as Government Servant. Police sources said that incident took place when MLC Firdous Ahmed Tak along with his Personal Security Officers (PSOs) and some other people visited Khattikan Talab area falling under the jurisdiction of Peer Mitha Police station defying curfew restrictions and posed himself as Government servant. "During his visit to khattikan Talab, Firdous defied the curfew restrictions imposed by the District Magistrate (DM) Jammu and also posed himself as Government Servant", said police sources. Police said that a case under FIR 11/19 under sections 419 and 188 of RPC has been registered against the MLC and further investigation in this regard is on. |
