| SCIENTIA International School celebrates Annual Sports Day | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 23: SCIENTIA International School, Bantalab celebrated Annual Sports Day. with great zeal and excitement amidst thrills, shrills and cheers. Jasbir Singh Bhau, Zonal Physical Education Officer, Bhalwal, was the Chief Guest along with Sunil Abrol and Nitin Sethi. Other prominent guests were the Chairman Parshotam Bhardwaj, Vice Chairman, K.R. Magotra. The programme began with the lightning of the Torch followed by the Inter House March Past with stirring music by the band. The oath taking ceremony was taken by Adity Bhagat of Grade 6 and the students solemnly pledged to uphold the spirit of true sportsmanship. Children participated in various races , athletics and sports activities in which the school enjoyed a lot. The day was filled with exciting victories and notion of competitiveness among the students. The trophy for the leading house was bagged by "Shraddha House" . The Chief Guest while addressing the audience expressed his fervor and encouraged the children to participate more in sports and games. The winners of the games were awarded with medals and trophies by the Chief Guest on the occasion. The Founder Director Principal Bharti Bhardwaj presented the vote of thanks on a cheerful note and filled the atmosphere with promises for all the young sports enthusiasts. |
