PARGWAL, Feb 23: Tehsildar Ram Paul Sharma was today accorded a warm farewell by Teachers' Welfare Association Pargwal on his transfer to Panchari, Udhampur. The function was attended by large number of members of teaching fraternity, civil society and Booth Level Officers (BLOs). Association and Civil society members present on the occasion lauded the role of Ram Paul Sharma in bringing about visible and appreciable change in administration and said that the dint and dedication of Sharma has helped the Revenue department to take decisive measures and upgrade its excellence in whole Pargwal tehsil. In his address, Ram Paul said that he would ever remain indebted to Pargwal and its people for the support, cooperation, love and affection showered upon him during his two years stint as Tehsildar. He recalled the unstinted cooperation extended to him by the people, officers and leaders of the various political parties. Prominent among those present included Krishan Singh, Surjit Singh, Ankush Dev Singh, Lakhvinder Singh, Vivek Manhas, Kulbushan Singh, Ranjit Singh, Varinder Singh, Rakesh Kumar, Mohinder Paul, Suresh Kumar, Rajinder Kumar and others. |
