| Youth commits suicide after allegedly murdering girl in his house | | Believed 'love birds' found dead | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 23: A young man believed to have committed suicide in his house at village Jind Khurd falling under the jurisdiction of Bishnah police station after allegedly murdering a girl, supposed to be his lover.
The girl was stabbed with a knife resulting in she died on the spot whereas the accused committed suicide after the incident. According to the information, a young girl namely Shallu daughter of Badrinath was found dead in the house of Rakesh Kumar son of Janak Raj of Jind Khurd. Her body was lying on the bed with stabbing wounds.
Meanwhile, youth was found hanging with the hook of the ceiling in the same room.
The family members of Rakesh Kumar took his body to the hospital for treatment where he was declared as brought dead by the doctors.
After getting the information of this incident, police team from Bishnah police station reached the spot and shifted the body of the deceased girl to the mortuary of the hospital for post-mortem while autopsy of the deceased Rakesh Kumar was also got conducted.
Police said that preliminary it came to light that the duo was residents of the same area.
Police further said that presently none of the member of the families is ready to share anything but it seems that there is love affair between the deceased.
Family of the deceased Rakesh said that they went to the market and they do not know under what circumstances the girl reached their house and they do not have any information about this.
Police said that a case in this connection has been registered. |
