Jammu, Mar 1: One day Awareness-cum-demonstration programme held at Dogra Higher Secondary School Shashtri Nagar Jammu, which was organized by Civil Defence Jammu under the guidance of V. K. Singh, IPS, DGP, Commandant General Homeguards/CD & SDRF J&K, Shri Muneer Ahmad Khan, IPS, ADGP HG/CD & SDRF J&K, Shri Vikas Gupta, JKPS, SSP, Incharge DIG HG/CD & SDRF Jammu and under the supervision of Dy.SP Shashi Thakur, Dy. Controller Civil Defence Jammu. In the awareness Camp students of higher classes and teaching staff were make aware about the knowledge of First Aid (CPR, Chocking,), Fire fighting, Air raid precautions and take safety measures during prevailing situation in the State by the Civil Defence Instructors. While speaking on the occasion Dy.SP Shashi Thakur, Dy. Controller Civil Defence Jammu, highlighted the role and importance of Civil Defence organization during prevailing situation in the state and delivered a valuable lecture on the topic of Disaster Management and she has also distribute the CD Training certificates to the students and staff who have undergone basic CD training. |
