Jammu, Mar 1: J&K Grameen Bank organized eleven village level programmes among unbanked villages under District- Bandipora, Jammu, Kathua, Rajouri & Samba.
Financial Inclusion & Insurance Department under the chairmanship of Sh. Janak Raj Angural and in collaboration with NABARD organized eleven village level programmes under branch offices Pattan, Gajansoo, Bishnah, Marta Nagrota, Gujroo Nagrota, Parnalla, Dharamsal, Dhangri, Kheora, Rajouri & Raya under district Bandipora, Jammu, Kathua, Rajouri & Samba. With the culmination of these camps, J&K Grameen completed coverage of 287 villages under village level programmes in the current financial year 2018-19. Chuni Lal Sharma, Branch Manager Marta Nagrota, J&K Grameen Bank during the camp held at village Thana Basohli under Branch office Marta Nagrota, welcomed the gathering and impressed upon them to make best use of available banking services in accordance to their need and requirement. He assured of the full cooperation and support from Grameen Bank for a remarkable turnaround in the rural economy. Besides talking over major social security schemes, he also spread awareness about various types of fraudulent activities prevalent in the market to dupe innocent people of their hard earned monies.
