| NPM stages street play "Dastak" | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 1: Nutan Prayaas Manch (NPM) presented street play "Dastak" at Gole Market Gandhi Nagar, Jammu under Manthan 19 International Street Play Festival organized by Verve, the street play society of Shaheed Sukhdev College of Delhi University.
The play "Dastak" mainly highlighted the injustice and cruelty being faced by Indian women of different age groups especially young at their places of work, while traveling late night, in the colleges and schools so on. The main motive of Nutan Prayaas Manch was to extend a message to the society and especially to the youngsters that havoc to the women been done.
The time has come that each and every single woman should be empowered in such a manner that she will be able to face any type of odds and retaliate to the exploitation done to her.
The play was written by Arvind Gaur and directed by Anuroop Pathania. |
