| FOB organizes awareness on Swachhta Abhiyan | | |  Early Times Report
Samba, Mar 3: In connection with the ongoing extensive publicity awareness campaign on Swachh Bharat Abhiyan under the theme "Shramdan Sunday" or "Shramdan Ravivar" launched in various Municipal Committees of Jammu division by Bureau of Outreach and Communication, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Govt. of India, Jammu and Kashmir Region with the aim to generate awareness and education among the individual households and inhabitants to adopt and adhere to safe and effective measures to dispose off their household waste materials.
Field Outreach Bureau, Kathua of Bureau of Outreach and Communication, Ministry of Information Broadcasting in close coordination and cooperation with Directorate of Urban Local Bodies, Jammu, Municipal Committee, Ramgarh, F Company of 176 Battalion of Border Security Force and other sister media organizations of Ministry of Information and Broadcasting viz: Doordarshan News, All India Radio and Song and Drama Wing, organized an awareness programmes cum cleanliness drives under the theme Swachh Bharat Mission "Shramdan Sunday" in Ward No 2 and Ward No. 3 of Ramgarh Municipality today. The Swachh Bharat Mission which is a historical initiative and a much publicized and well known flagship programme of NDA Government aimed at to fulfill the dreams of the father of the nation Mahatma Gandhi of Clean and Green India by 2nd October 2019 i.e. 150th Birth Anniversary of the father of the nation. |
