| 5 contests in men, women categories held | | Senior State Kabaddi Championship | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 30: On the second day of Senior State Kabaddi Championship for Men & Women, three matches were played under Men's category while as many two contests were held in Women's Section.
In the Men's category, Jammu defeated Rajouri by 52-12 while Poonch and UKC Udhampur ended in draw with a score of 20 each. In the third match, Kathua defeated Poonch by 37-16.
In the Women's Section, Jammu defeated Kathua by 21-04 while J&K Police defeated Udhampur by 42-36. M R Khan, Commandant CRPF 137 Battalion Udhampur was the chief guest on the occasion.
The chief guest congratulated and appreciated the efforts of the organizing committee for smooth and successful conduct of the tournament and blessed the participants to perform best in the tournament. Kharati Lal Sharma, District Youth Services & Sports Officer Udhampur was special guest on this occasion. |
