Will authorities take action against Akbar Lone? | Asking militants to facilitate his win! | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Mar 30: National Conference's candidate for Baramulla constituency has put his entire leadership in the dock as he indirectly asked militants not to allow anybody other than him to win the parliament elections from Baramulla. Just a month has passed since dreadful Pulwama attack took place with entire country yet to come out of that shock, National Conference is seeking help from the perpetuators of the Pulwama attack itself so that the party could win the elections. "I know Omar and Dr Farooq would be angry, but I want to tell you 'tik tik' wala (terrorists), I am talking about you today, when I'm nothing. Tomorrow when I will win, I will talk about you and your cause more - what has happened to you? Why will you go to my workers' place? Why will you harass him? Then he won't vote for me, which means sending BJP candidate to parliament, one who is against your Kashmir cause," NC's Baramulla Lok Sabha candidate Akbar Lone could be heard as saying in a video that has gone viral. "This is outrageous and simply unacceptable. I wonder what is stopping the authorities from taking action against this erratic person. He is openly saying that he is representing militants and that they should support him during elections. I mean what is going on," says a senior political commentator based in Srinagar. Earlier, on March 17, when an election rally of the NC was being held in north Kashmir with Akbar Lone as the campaigner, not even the Prime Minister of India was spared in order to grab the headlines. Lone in open used derogatory language against the Prime Minister. On March 23, this erratic NC leader already known for his brazenness e, unfounded and unnatural statements threw all ethics to winds when he declared that he wasn't ashamed of lauding Pakistan. " Wo musalmaan mulk hai, wo abaad rahay, hamari aur unki dosti baday, uss dosti ka mai ashiq hun…Agar unko koi aik gali dega mai unko yahan se dass galiyan dunga," Lone said in his address. Meanwhile, it is emerging as a new trend in Kashmir that otherwise mainstream politicians are posing as separatist sympathisers with a sole motive to garner votes and appease separatists. |
