Electrical and Automobile Engineering to face off in Volleyball tournaments final

Jammu, Mar 30: Electrical and Automobile Engineering will take on each other in Inter-Department Rolling Trophy Volleyball Tournament organised in Government Polytechnic Bikram Chowk Jammu. Er. Arun Bangotra, Principal of the college was Chief Guest.
In the 1st Semi-final played between of Travel and Tourism and Electrical Engineering Department, spikes of Hrithik and Pankaj from Travel and Tourism department did not allow Electrical Engineering department as eased their win in both the sets. Electrical Engineering department won the game by 2-0 sets.
In the 2nd Semi-final played between Automobile Engineering department and Civil Engineering Department, exceptional performance from Neeraj Sharma and Kuljeet Singh of Automobile Engineering restricted Amandeep Singh and Zeeshan Ahmed of Civil Engineering department, and in the last Automobile Engineering Department snatched the victory from Civil Engineering Department by 2-0 sets.
The officials for semi finals were Jeet Singh, P.E.M, Pritam Sharma, P.E.M, Jagjeet Singh, P.E.T and Amit Sharma P.E.T from Youth Services and Sports Department of J&K.
The Tournament is being organised under the overall supervision of Er Rajesh Gupta, HOD (Automobile), Er. Sukhdeep Singh HOD Civil Engg, Dheeraj Angral Lecture T&T, Guminderpreet Kour P.E.M and Toshi Devi, P.E.T of Sports Department.
Others who were present on the occasion were K.S Bhatia HOD (Mechanical), Amit Sharma HOD (Travel and Tourism), Er. Sanjay Gupta HOD (Electrical), Ar. Ritika Wadhera, HOD (Arch), Rajesh Khajuria, TPO, Er. Ankush Langer, Er. Navdeep Sharma, Er. Vandana Chib, family of Late Fazil Abbas, other staff and students of the college.
