| District sessions court awards life imprisonment to 4 persons for committing murder | | | Early Times Report
Poonch, Mar 30: District Sessions court Poonch today awarded life imprisonment and a fine of Rs.10,000 each to four persons for committing murder of a BSF soldier. Istakhar Ahmed, Atheek Ahmed, Zakir Hussain and Ulfat awarded life imprisonment and a fine of Rs.10,000 each to four persons for committing murder of a BSF soldier namely mohd Latif in the year 2009 at Mendhar. The deceased was murdered very brutally as all the parts of body of the deceased were cut into pieces by sharp-edged weapons (Tokas) etc while he was sleeping at his residence Mendhar.
The trial was conducted for 10 years at last after appreciating all the evidences District and session Judge Poonch Zubair Ahmed Raza awarded the life imprisonment to all the accused with fine of Rs 10,000 each. |
