| BGSBU organizes Lamp Lighting Ceremony | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 18: College of Nursing, Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University Rajouri observed lamp lighting and oath taking Ceremony. Prof. Javed Musarrat , Vice chancellor of the Baba Ghulam Shah Badhsah university was the chief guest on the occasion. A total of 40 novice nurses received the light from the chief guest, Prof. Javed Musarrat along with Dean academic affairs, Prof. Iqbal Parwez and Registrar, Dr. Ashafq Ahmed Zarri. Speaking on the occasion Prof. Javed Musarrat said that the Nursing is a noble and challenging profession, it plays an important role in providing care to humanity. Prof. Musarrat said that Nursing is a very important part of the medical facilities offered anywhere in the country and world. Along with medical care, patients also need the empathy and warmth of nursing. The profession is the backbone of the medical care system. Lots of new developments are taking place in the nursing profession and new entrants need to ensure that they keep themselves updated with adequate skills and specialization. Prof. Musarrat said that there is a ever increasing demand of nursing professionals to augment the health care system. He said that three Nursing colleges of the University will be the major contributor in providing trained human resources in the health care sector of the state of Jammu and Kashmir. |
