SAMBA, Apr 24: The residents of ward No 9 Samba are facing lot of problems due to blocked drains.
Locals said dirty water from the blocked drains submerges the roads making the life of people difficult.
They said the road linked with main Bazaar Samba, Budhwani and Mandies is in dilapidated condition.
"Number of potholes and dirty water of the drains causes hardships to students and the aged people," they said adding the matter was taken up with the concerned repeatedly without results.
Where are the good days promised by the Prime Minister," the locals questioned.
Raghubir Singh Councilor of Ward No 9 Samba told newsmen that the President of MC Samba as well as officer of the PWD department wee apprised of the problem but no action was taken.
He sought immediate action. |
