Poonch, Apr 23: Hanging supply lines in Poonch areas has exposed the SAUBHAGYA scheme of the power development department (PDD).
Sources said in some areas the wires hang from trees posing risk to life. Ghulam Nabi a local of Fatehpur, sources said, has been paying the bills regularly but the wires that bring electricity to his home hang from trees.
Sources said he approached the concerned for installation of proper infrastructure but all in vain.
"If any incident occurred in the area,who will be responsible, Department or government?", He questioned. He has appealed to governor Satya Pal Malik to conduct inquiry into the matter and provide proper supply lines for said area. |
