Jammu, Apr 23: Aadarsh Bhartiya Samaj celebrated 'World Book Day'.
A function was organized under the guidance of Col (Retd) R K Sharma, Chairman and S Daljeet Singh, President-ABS at its Library.
The message of event was 'Purchase Book, Read Book and Donate Book to educate each one'. On the occasion Ravti Parshad, Madhurima Kaul and Arti Kohli donated the books to the school going children.
Pt Chaman Lal Sharma quoted Swami Vivekananda and spoke on the relevance of education. It is pertinent to mention here that Aadarsh Bhartiya Samaj is running a library for last 30 years in the locality. |
