| HC to SSRB: 'File report on recruitment in Drug Org' | | |

Jammu, May 9: In a Public Interest Litigation on food adulteration and rising cancer incidence in Kashmir Valley, the J&K High Court has directed the Service Selection Recruitment Board (SSRB) to submit a status report on an affidavit with regard to the recruitment of various non-gazetted posts in the Drugs and Food Control Organization within four weeks.
A Division Bench of the High Court comprising Chief Justice Gita Mittal and Justice Tashi Rabstan passed the order after going through the status report dated April 15, 2019 filed by Atal Dulloo, Principal Secretary to Government, Health and Medical Education Department. Dulloo disclosed the status of the sanctioned posts as well as the vacancies position and the steps taken for recruitment by the respondents. |
