| SIPS organizes Inter-House Collage Making Competition | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, May 9: Aiming to explore the students' artistic skills, an inter-house collage making competition on Mother's Day was held in Stephens International Public School Miran Sahib. Five students from each house namely Wisdom House, Peace House, Courage House & Joy House picturised their imagination using magazine and newspaper clippings, bits of coloured or handmade papers, ribbons, paint, portions of other artwork and so on. The participants were enthusiastic to showcase their innovative designs portraying their endearment for their mothers. SatvinderSaini the Director of the School congratulated the winners. Dean Academics Rama Jamwal, Manoj Kumar Vice Principal and ShwetaBakshi Headmistress adjudged the participants for creativity, theme and presentation. Peace house claimed the top notch whereas Courage and Joy house bagged the second and third position respectively. Speaking on the occasion Jamwal said that these competitions revitalise the learners and boost them up to face the challenges of their lives. She congratulated the winners and lauded the teaching faculty who facilitated the budding artists to link their imagination and creativity. "Mother is the name for God in the lips and hearts of little children" were the concluding words of the day. |
