Jammu, May 9: In view of week-long religious function, ashram of famous saint Guru Ramanand ji Maharaj was established at Ban Nagrota. A large number of devotees and followers of Guru from different parts of Jammu province especially RS Pura, Sunder Bani -Nowshera, Rajouri -Poonch and Ambika, Rajasthan Delhi and Dehradun attended the celebrations.
The concluding function was also attended by Guru Suryadev ji Maharaj Kulguru Bawa Beeram Shah besides several religious social and political figures including Ravinder Sharma Ex-MLC, Dr Ved forme Dy Director Health, Sarpanch Kishore Dutt, Ramjidass, Naresh, Capt Kundan amar nath beside others. Guru highlighted the importance of religious discourse and emphasized to remain devoted to the teachings of gurus. Former MLC Ravinder Sharma recalled the importance of maintaining the religious, cultural and linguistic identity of displaced communities. |
