UDHAMPUR, May 11: The Child Welfare Committee and DCPU Udhampur sent back 10 girls of Nari Niketan to their families after proper documentation and obtaining undertaking from parents and guardians as per JJ Act 2013 here today.
District Child Protection Officer, Sana Khan informed that the girls have completed their education as well as Vocational training. She further said that the girls now 18 years of age belong to different areas of District Udhampur and Ramban and were no longer in need of Institutional Care and Protection. |
