Police conducts raid, recovers 230 injections, Rs 1,30,000 cash | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 12: A team of Nagrota Police accompanied by Executive Magistrate First Class conducted a raid after getting specific inputs at Upper Paloura and arrested a person along with 230 injections, 570 empty injections and Rs 1,30,000 cash from his possession. Pertinently, a few days ago the police had arrested two persons under NDPS act and recovered 45 injections form them. During interrogation, the accused revealed the name of a person who is the main supplier and man behind this crime. After getting information, police parties headed by SDPO Nagrota Mohan Lal Sharma, SHO Nagrota Insp. Deepak Pathania and Incharge PP Sidhra SI Pervez Ahmed Khandey alongwith Executive Magistrate 1st Class Nagrota Dinesh Anthal conducted raid at his residence at Upper Paloura and recovered 230 intoxicant injections, 570 used injections Syringes 33, Needles 41 and Cash amounting to Rs. 1,30,000/. Intoxicant injections and cash was immediately seized on spot. Further questioning of the accused is going on and more arrests cannot be ruled out. The accused has been identified as Zulfikar Hussain Ganai son of Jallal -Ul Din Ganai resident of Upper Paloura near Chhoti Majisd Roop Nagar Jammu. A case FIR no 202/19 under section 8/21/22/27-A NDPS Act, 353 RPC registered in Police Station Nagrota. |
