JMC organizes programme on SWM 5/15/2019 11:29:48 PM Early Times Report Jammu, May 15: An awareness programme was organized by Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) at Government Boys Higher Secondary School Gole Gujral. According to press release, JMC team member Jorawar Singh explained different ways to dispose-off solid waste from the school to the society. According to him after segregation biodegradable are stored in a container and composted in month. Then, the compost will be prepared automatically within the month without any chemical/physical process. The non- biodegrable is washed dried then can be sold to JMC which will be further send to processing unit for recycle. The Programme coordinator Gurdeep Singh Slathia arranged the sitting of the students as well as outsiders to attend the programme.
