Kathua, May 15: Directorate of Ecology, Environment and Remote Sensing (DEERS) today organized a Painting/Symposium competition here at Government High School Galak , (Billawar) to mark the celebration of Biodiversity Week with this year's theme "Our Biodiversity, Our Food, Our Health"
Around 100 students of Govt High School Galak (Billawar) along with the faculty participated in the event.
The contestants of the Symposium and maintaining competition held on the theme "Impact of Food habits on Biodiversity" expressed their views through speeches and paintings.
Eco friendly material was distributed to students and staff of the school.
Environmental Soil Conservationist, Jammu (DEERS), Kuldeep Kumar highlighted the need for conserving Biodiversity and Impact of food habits on it. |
