| GDC Thannamandi organizes Extension Lecture | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 21: Women empowerment cell of Government Degree College Thannamandi organized an extension lecturer on a Sufi Poetess and literary figure Lal-Ded. HOD Department of Kashmiri Dr. Shahida Shabnuam delivered a very impressive and detailed lecturer on life and contribution of Lal-Ded. She also referred some couplets from poetry of Lal Ded. Principal of the College Prof. (Dr.) Shakeel Ahmed Raina presided over the function. The programme was compared by Prof. Fatima Qazi. Ealier the programmee was started with the recitation of few verses of Holy Quaran by Dr. Sami- Ullah Bhat HOD Islamic Studies. Vote of thanks was given by convener women empowerment cell & HOD Arabic Dr. Nahim Un Nisa. |
