JAMMU, May 21: A meeting of the office bearers of Jammu Central University Shaikshik Sangh (JCUSS) was held today wherein a charter of demands was discussed threadbare and later on the same was presented and handed over to the Vice Chancellor, Central University of Jammu (CUJ). The JCUSS said that the demands were projected in the interest of academic fraternity so that a better academic environment could flourish in the premises of the University. The charter of the demands included issues like PhD increment, pending allowances, counting of past services, residential facilities, medical facilities, day care centre and facilities to be given to the CUJ faculty members working under special abled category. The office bearer of JCUSS namely Prof Deepak Pathania, President, Dr Vandana Sharma, Vice President, Dr Pankaj Mehta, General Secretary, Dr Ajay Kumar Singh, Joint Secretary, Dr Vinay Shukla, Joint Secretary, Romesh Chander, Press Secretary were also present in the meeting. |
