Red Cross kicks off 3-Day First Aid Training for CRPF | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, May 23: The J&K State Branch of Indian Red Cross Society today kicked off First Aid Training Programme of CRPF personnel at 28 BN Headquarters, Bemina. The Programme was inaugurated by Rajesh Sharma (KAS), General Secretary, Indian Red Cross Society in presence of Dr. Suneem Khan (MO) 28 BN Hospital, Headquarters and other officials of CRPF and Red Cross. Sharma while interacting with the CRPF Jawans highlighted the selfless services extended by the forces in maintaining peace and harmony throughout the country. Sharma thanked the CRPF jawans for donating blood to the society from time to time and Sharma assured all possible support and coordination with CRPF in future as well. The training is being imparted to the 1st batch whose services shall be utilized during Amarnathji Yatra, 2019. The training will be imparted to 150 CRPF Jawans in 06 batches before commencement of Amarnathji Yatra 2019. The objective of this training is to enhance the life saving skills among the Jawans to act as First Medical Responders in times of need during Amarnathji Yatra and educate the yatris to make them more resilient to accidents. The aim of training is to reduce disaster risks and build resilient First Aiders force for CRPF in the valley. |
