Taekwondo National Referee seminar-cum-refresher course concludes | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 23: First time in the history of Jammu and Kashmir, a three day-long Taekwondo National Referee Seminar and National Referee refresher course was conducted successfully by Taekwondo Federation of India (TFI) in collaboration with J&K Taekwondo Association (JKTA). The course which commenced on May 19, concluded today wherein several states including the host state participated. The sole motive behind organizing the seminar was to aware the senior state coaches/referees regarding the modern Taekwondo, so that the state based referees can held the championships at various District / state level and also get a chance to officiate at National championships. The chief examiner of the above mentioned seminar was Atul Pangotra (International Referee/ Referee Chairman TFI) along with assistant examiner Sarabjeet Singh of Chandigarh (International Referee). The whole event was based on the latest referee World Taekwondo rulings and approved electronic sensor scoring system, which was operated by Rajesh Verma of Delhi. |
