JTC/SKF demands enhancement of cash relief | | | Early Times Report Jammu, June 18: An emergent meeting of the Jagti Tenements Committee/Soan Kashmir Front J&K was held at Jagti Township Jammu under the Chairmanship of its President Shadi Lal Pandita. In which the important issue related to the migrant problems was discussed in thread bare. The main issue which was highlighted was permanent rehabilitation of the Kashmiri Pandit Migrant in the Kashmir Valley for which we have been struggling very hard, as we are in Exile in our own country, and faces numeral problems confronted by us since last 20 years continuously. Pandita has said in the meeting that the enhancement of Cash Relief to the Relief Holders from 13000/- to 25000/- per month per family when the price hike of the essential commodities have gone sky high and unable to survive on this meager relief. The Ex. Gratia Relief in respect of the gutted migrant properties in the valley to those who has been compensated very less of their gutted houses etc. And the assessment made in the past is very low and demands that such cases should be reassessed so that the adequate compensation is granted to the victims (Migrants) and balanced ex-gratia should be released, Pandita has said that in the year of 2008 the Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh is his dynamic rule at the centre, was sanctioned 6000 Employment package post for the employment of migrant youths and out of this only 3000/- were employed and rest of the 3000 posts are not sanctioned by the State Government. |
