MENDHAR, June 26: With the burning of transformer in Harni village, Ward No. 4 of Sub Division Mendhar, the residents are without electricity for many days. People of the area who are facing difficulties these days, said the concerned department has turned deaf ear towards the miseries of the people. "We have repeatedly brought the matter into the notice of officials, but nothing happened," they said. Social Worker Majid Khan Bobby said that PDD officers have not given proper attention to their problem and they are being forced to agitate and block the roads etc. They appealed to the Chief Engineer PDD Jammu to issue instructions to the concerned officers at Mendhar for immediate replacement of damaged electric transformer in the area. |
