| DC Udhampur emphasise public to utilise benefits of 'Cancer Treatment and Management Fund for Poor' | | | UDHAMPUR, June 26: With a view to provide timely financial assistance to cancer patients, DC Udhampur Dr Piyush Singla reviewed utilisation of benefits under "Cancer Treatment and Management Fund for poor' (CTMFFP).
The fund is aimed to provide necessary financial assistance to the people who come from modest economic backgrounds for cancer treatment and management including Surgery, Chemotherapy, Radio-therapy or a combination of these regimens.
In this regard, DC said that this scheme is immensely useful and appealed public to take maximum benefit of this assistance. He said that ACR Udhampur have been designated as Nodal Officer to monitor case applications that come to his office for approval and ensure timely action on the same. |
