| Annual Baba Chamliyal Mela tomorrow, ceremonial BSF-Pak Rangers meet unlikely | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 26: As the stage has been set for traditional 'Baba Chamliyal Mela' to be organised on Thursday along Indo-Pak international border in Ramgarh sector of Samba district, the ceremonial Flag Meet' between BSF officials with their counterparts Pakistani Rangers at 'No Man's Land' is unlikely to take place.
Indo-Pak meet was a regular feature since decades on the occasion of annual Baba Chamliyal mela, but at first, in 2018, the meeting was cancelled due to tension between two nations along the border.
"This year's annual Baba Chamliyal fair is falling on last Thursday of this month (June 27) and the district administration has made all preparations and arrangements for the mega event," official sources here told. |
