Early Times Report Jammu, July 4: Editor Early Times, Munish Gupta, on Thursday asked the people to join the carvan of change to make their lives easier and comfortable. Carrying forward his mass contact programme in different areas, Munish informed the people that winds of change are blowing across the country and Jammu can't lag far behind. "We can't just sit back and wait for change to come. We need to join our hands and put Jammu on the path of development," said Munish, who would be contesting the forthcoming Assembly elections as an Independent candidate from Gandhi Nagar constituency. He said, "Change cannot come till we rely on the people whom we have voted for during all these years. We have to give new faces a chance to send a message to the leaders, who have represented us during all these years that enough is enough and they cannot take us for a ride anymore." Munish said, "People whom I have met during my ongoing mass contact programme are up in arms against the former MLAs and the leaders who have represented them. All of them have one complaint that they were left in lurch by the people whom they voted for during all these years." He said, "I have come to my people with a hope that they would support me and vote for me so that we can together lay the foundation of new Jammu." |
