RAMBAN, July 10: A meeting of District Level Monitoring Committee (DLMC) was held today to review the implementation of Bio-Medical Waste (BMW) management and handling in the district.
District Magistrate (DM), Showkat Aijaz Bhat chaired the meeting attended by CPO, Dr. Kasturi Lal, CMO, Dr. Iqbal Bhat, XEN PHE, Bashir Ahmed, District Officer, State Pollution Control Board (SPCB), Anupam Koul, EO, MC Ramban, Ravinder Kumar and various concerned officers.
The Government has constituted DLMCs to oversee the implementation of Bio-Medical Waste Management and handling at district level.
