JAMMU, July 10: Liaison Committee of BJP's membership drive held a meeting with Traders Association of old city bazars here today at Purani Mandi.
The committee comprising of Naryan Singh, VK Sethi and H S Pammi held threadbare discussions with the traders.
All Traders Associations evinced keen interest to become a member of BJP in the membership drive.
Meanwhile, those present raised many local issues including inadequate parking, defective street lights, irregular power cuts, toilets for ladies, traffic problem, repair and renovation of iconic Purani Mandi Park.
Members of liaison of committee assured them to take up all issues with Jammu Municipal Corporation. Prominent leaders of traders associations present were Hardeep Singh, President Upper Moti Bazar Traders Association, Surinder Mahajan President Raghunath Bazar Businessmen Traders Association, Vimal Gupta President Raj Tilak Road Association, Balvinder Singh President Gali Khilonia Traders Association, Chandan Gupta President Lower Moti Bazar, Anil Gupta President Paharian Mohalla Traders Association, Rajinder Gupta President Link Road Traders Association, Harish Gupta President Pacca Danga Traders Association, Surinder Mahajan President Purani Mandi Traders Association, Rajesh Gupta Patel Bazar Fattu Chowgan Traders Association and others. |
