| Summer camp concludes at Gandhi Nagar | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 10: The summer camp of dancing, yoga and other extracurricular event camp organized by Diamond Dance Aerobics Academy Management Committee Gandhi Nagar concluded today. More than one and a half months' long duration camp was organized with a view to inculcate a spirit of adventure and enjoy other notable extracurricular activities like dancing, yoga, painting and funny sports.
Managing Director of the Academy Jogeshwar Singh Jamwal imparted training to more than fifty children who had enrolled themselves for the camp. The children were also exposed to expert advice of professional yoga teachers who dwelt at length on benefits of yoga while they were being taught yogaasanas. Addressing the students, the chief guest President National Mazdoor Conference (NMC) and a well-known social activist Subash Shastri addressed the concluding ceremony and very eloquently explained that students should besides studies utilize their time in creative pursuits which will prepare them for future and its challenges. On this occasion, children gave a splendid dance performance and the audience applauded them. A social activist Sushant Singh Rajput and several others prominent dancers, players were also present on the occasion. |
