Jammu, July 10: Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) today appealed all nationalists in particular Kashmiri Pandits to observe July 13,2019 as" Black day" as a mark of protest against first organized violence against Kashmiri pundits.
Kundan Kashmiri, President KPC said that this day in 1931 marked the beginning of the first organized genocide of Kashmiri Pandits, when there was loot, massacre, arson and killing of the Kashmiri Pandits and other Hindus and the present plight of Kashmiri pundits in exile has a direct link with what happened with the community for hundreds of years. |
