| JMC holds awareness programme on SWM at Roop Nagar | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 10: An awareness and practical demonstration regarding Solid Waste Management (SWM) was taken up by members of SWM team of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) at Upper Roop Nagar near Aap Shambhu Temple Ward No 62. Deputed team of JMC gave lecture about the solid waste management. JMC team appealed the residents not to use polythene carry bags instead use jute/cloth carry bags and plant a tree in their surroundings.
They told people that how to prepare compost from organic waste of the homes. People carefully listened and vowed to take up such fruitful advice to their homes as well as surrounding. |
