Early Times Report JAMMU, July 10: A 10-day long summer training workshop on "Cyber Security" began here today at Government College for Women (GCW), Parade Ground, Jammu. The workshop is being organized in collaboration with Ally Wired Soft Technologies, New Delhi. More than 70 students from different colleges of J&K, Himachal Pradesh and Punjab are participating in the workshop. In the inaugural function, Sanjeev Verma, Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, was the chief guest. He emphasized upon the knowledge of cyber security in the digital technology and explained how this study can be helpful for the students. Principal, Dr Hemla Aggarwal, interacted with the students and she stressed upon the students to take maximum benefits by attending such workshops. Roopali Jamwal, Head, Department of Computer Science, gave the welcome address. Surojit Bose from Ally Wired Soft Technologies, New Delhi, the keynote speaker started the session with an interaction between the students on regulation, use and misuse of information technology. |
