Early Times Report JAMMU, July 16: Jagti Tenement Committee and Soan Kashmir Front has demanded permanent rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandits in Kashmir valley. According to press release, a meeting of JTC/SK was held under the chairmanship of P.L. Thussu and discussed the permanent rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandits in Kashmir Valley. Shadi Lal Pandita said, "We have been demanding for setting-up of the three townships in the valley at District Baramulla, Srinagar and Anantnag Kashmir. One Township for those Kashmiri Migrants who hailing from Bandipora, Baramulla and Kupwara in between the Kupwara and Narabal, Second township for those Kashmiri Pandits who are hailing from Budgam, Srinagar and Ganderbal near Sheikhpora and third township for those migrants who are hailing from Anantnag, Kulgam, Shopian and Pulwama in between Anantnag and Avantipora with all facilities/ political and minority States". Other demands were also discussed during the meeting. |
