Early Times Report JAMMU, July 16: Doon International School Jammu was awarded as one of the top 50 schools of India at the 8th National Conference for Eduleaders organized by the Centre for Educational Development (CED) in collaboration with 'Touch Education' magazine. The function was held at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. The award was granted to the school keeping in consideration the mark it has made in a short span earning a national and international repute for providing a thriving, dynamic, ethical and inspiring educational platform to equip the students keeping a pace with the global scenario. The Principal of the school, Dr Vikesh Kaur was also conferred with 'The Most Progressive Leader' award by the former Governor of Chattisgarh, Shekhar Dutt(IAS). She received the award for her prudent and dynamic leadership and for her remarkable role in the field of education since last 27 years by providing quality education encapsulated with innovative, pragmatic, creative and experiential learning in a happy and conducive environment. On this occasion, she congratulated the Chairman, G.N. Tantray and the entire team of DIS Jammu applauding the commendable achievement and the fructuous display of their determination since the inception of the school. |
