JAMMU, July 16: Chander Mohan Gupta, Mayor JMC in collaboration with Social Welfare Department organized programme for the welfare of poor and needy persons at Shiv Nagar area of Ward No 33. He distributed passbooks under 'Ladli Beti' scheme to the number of beneficiaries under centrally sponsored scheme. Akanshsha Kalsotra, Child Development Project Officer, Jammu. Amar Jyoti Supervisor ICDS, Swarna Devi, Pinky Rani, Anganwadi workers and a large number of inhabitants as well as beneficiaries were also present during the simple but impressive function which was organized for the benefit and welfare of needy persons.
Mayor as well as Child Director Project Officer also threw light about the other welfare schemes of the department and asked the general public to come forward and take full benefits of these schemes. |
