Bhaderwah, July 22: The road leading to the famous fort located at Qilla Mohalla Bhaderwah and tourist destination is in a dilapidated condition for the last many years.
Residents of the area claimed that the road has not been repaired since last more than ten years. Tourists often complain about the bad quality of roads and we try to explain in vain to authorities that good roads are important for tourism", said Abid Khurshid a local, adding that road is bumpy and dotted with potholes.
"Employees and students suffer the most. They fail to make it to work and classes in time as the public transport barely plies on these dilapidated roads," said Mushtaq Ahmed Butt , a resident of Qilla Mohalla , Bhaderwah
The District administration which also included Bhaderwah Development Authority must gear up to repair the Bhaderwah fort link road , invariably battered as this is after snow and rain, with potholes everywhere. |
