Jammu, July 22: Jammu & Kashmir Medical Employee Federation held meeting under Sushil Sudan President JKMEF and raised their long pending demands. Addressing press conference, Sundan demanded the regularization of Academic Arrangement SRO 384/409 employees, r Regularization (under the special Service Provision Act 2010), releas of salary, release of 2 ½ Days Salary in favour of Paramedical Staff who Perform Sunday and Gazetted holidays as per roster , Risk Allowance etc. He said that around 1000 paramedical employees (Including staff Nurses Female/Male Multipurpose Health Worker/Anesthesia Technician/Assistant, Operation Theatre Tech. and Assistants, Lab. Tech. And assistant, X-Ray Ct and MRI tech. Medical Asstt. Pharmacists, ECG Tech, Dialsysis technicians, Dental Tech. Record Tech. Sterilization Tech. ) who are working on academic arrangement under provisions of SRO 384/409 at GMC Jammu/Srinagar and their Associated hospitals since last 10 years and form the fore manpower of the tow intuitions. The federation emphasizes on the t turmoil despite working on a meager salary, which has helped the two institutions to reach new heights in their endeavor in improving patient care services. It is important to mention the fact that the above candidates have been recruited under proper job advertisements and selection procedure through principal Govt. Medi cal College, & dental College, Jammu/from time to time. |
